Daniel, from Pembroke, the newest member
of The Coolerators, honed his drumming skills through study with Chris
Rivelli (The Chris Fitz Band, The Matt Stubbs Band).
Much of Daniel’s original inspiration
came through listening to the jazz and Blues music of BB King, Sandy
Nelson, Buddy Rich, Ringo Star, Phil Collins and Gene Krupa and he
continues to be inspired by Chris Rivelli.
Daniel has played with and continues to
play with numerous bands.
He was special guest on Letterman’s Late
Show and performed with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra
He played a benefit at Berklee alongside
drummers John Blackwell Jr., (Prince), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili
Peppers), and world-renowned Horacio El Negro Hernandez.
Daniel has also appeared with Toni Lynn
Washington – Shirley King (BB King) - Janiva Magness – Ronnie Earl – The
Fat City Band – David Maxwell – Monster Mike Welch – James Montgomery –
Ricky “King” Russell – Duke Robillard – The Chris Fitz Band to name a
few!.
In addition to playing with The
Coolerators, Daniel has his own band, The Moondance Blues Band.
